Kalshi Agrees to Geofence Nevada by August 12 or Pay $120,000 a Day After Violating Court Order
The Nevada Gaming Control Board reached an enforcement agreement requiring Kalshi to implement third-party geofencing by August 12, 2026, after its internal IP-blocking system failed to prevent state residents from trading on its prediction market platform in violation of an existing court injunction. A $120,000-per-day penalty applies if the deadline is missed.
