UKGC Confirms Gambling Enforcement Fines Will Go to Treasury, Not Harm Charities
The UK Gambling Commission has confirmed that regulatory enforcement settlements will flow to the government's Consolidated Fund rather than to gambling harm charities or the statutory levy. The decision, opposed by half of consultation respondents, means £5.77 million in 2026 settlements from Stakelogic, Betfred and Evolution will go to the Treasury's general account.
